- Improved Unlock – The unlock process is now more automated, if you have previously logged into your account. Trial users can now create an account to gain access to online features as part of the unlock process.
- FL Studio macOS Menu – Items from the Main Menu are added to the macOS Application Menu.
- Tap Tempo – Deselect the ‘Apply tempo’ option so tapping doesn’t change the Project’s Tempo. Useful for investigating the tempo of audio you’re listening to.
- Tempo detection – When Tempos are detected there is an option to ignore decimals.
- Metronome – New ‘Pulse’ sound, suited to audio recording.
- Time Panel – Added SMPTE options, (Right-Click) to set.
- Hint bar – Shows the Project file name instead of the Authors Name in the Hint Bar if no Title is set for increased privacy.
- Icons – Clap, Snap, Zero icons were added to locations where Icons can be selected as part of Rename dialogs.
- FL Cloud
- Sounds – Added support for Hot-swapping ‘Placeholder’ samples by selecting ‘Hot Swap’ mode and clicking samples in the list. This will send them to the selected Sampler Channel or Audio Clip. There’s also support for Drag-and-drop workflow with DirectWave, Edison, FPC, Granulizer, NewTime, Sampler Channels, Scratcher, Slicer, Wave Traveller, Convolver, Slicer, Slicex & Wave Traveller.
- Playlist & Piano roll:
- Ghost Notes – The Piano roll can now show Ghost Notes from other Patterns, if the Pattern clips overlap in the Playlist. Supporting is a Ghost Note ‘Channels’ selector on the upper-right side of the Piano roll window to decide what Channels show. Additionally, use the Playlist Track headers (Right-Click) > ‘Show patterns as PR ghosts‘ decide which Playlist Tracks will display. NOTE: Out-of-Pattern Ghost Notes are outlined notes, in-Pattern are solid notes.
- Snap MIDI to Scale – (Right-Click) option on the Piano roll > Snap to key menu to snap incoming MIDI to the same settings as the Piano roll.
- Find stacked Clips & Notes – Option to ‘Select stacked clips’ (in the Playlist) and ‘Select stacked notes’ (in the Piano roll). Stacked means 100% overlap, and is in addition to ‘Overlapping’ Notes and Clips.
- Picker Panel Pattern colors – The (Right-Click) Pattern option > ‘Color’ selected Patterns changes colors without the name-change dialog pop-up. It will also open the full color selection window when using ‘Change color’ for a selection of Audio or Automation clips.
- Automated Track Names – FL Studio will use the Playlist Track’s name for an Audio Track if the destination Mixer Track doesn’t have a name.
- Extract stems – Sets the Name and Icon of created Playlist Stem Tracks to match the stem type. Additionally, the ‘Safe mode‘ option for some CPUs can avoid crashes and erroneous audio on systems experiencing issues.
- Chord progression tool – Changing the inversion number ignores the Root in all cases.
- Mixer:
- Monitoring – Added a low latency track mode (for live playing or recording) ‘Delay audio output’. Use to disable PDC when monitoring live inputs but is still corrects latency when rendering and recording audio.
- Routing – New (Right-Click) option > Select > ‘Channels and playlist tracks routed to this track’ to help with Instrument and Audio Track workflow.

- Browse channel states – Channel menu option to open the Channel Presets menu item in the Browser.

- Sounds Tab – Pre-load the Sounds Tab’s when FL Studio starts for quicker access.
